long does it take? |

A VERY FAST TURNAROUND. At Printing
Asia we understand
the importance of quick results. Turnaround time will depend
on your location, item and order required. Our typical book printing
schedule is as follows:
1
week - Press proofs preparation
10 days - Printing, binding,
packing (this may vary depending on extent and quantity of
your order)
14-28 days - Shipping to:
Australia, New Zealand, USA and the UK
Of
course orders may also be air freighted (2 - 3 days) or you
may require a combination of both airfreight /sea freight.
As soon as the printing and binding of your job is completed
(normally within 2-3 weeks from receipt of your artwork), if
requested, we
will provide you with 4 complimentary copies by air. If you
need more copies, just let us know and we will accommodate
your needs.

How
can I ensure quality without a press check? |
|
|
With all orders, we can provide you with proofs for your project. If you place a book order, for example, we can forward you a fully printed proof in B&W or FULL COLOR, with cover, BEFORE you authorize the final printing. If you have any minor corrections, we will make them according to your instructions. Any major corrections may have to be returned to the publisher for adjustment. NO FINAL PRINTING is undertaken until YOU approve it. Once you approve your project for printing, we assign an experienced production coordinator at the plant to be responsible for your job. He/she will watch YOUR project from beginning to end to ensure it meets our high quality standards. |

What
about paper quality? |
|
|
The paper we use is Korean, Indonesian or Japanese and we can send paper samples if requested. It's really no different from dealing with a domestic printer. |

Artwork
- in what format do you accept it? |
|
|
Most of our clients send us CD's with high resolution scans which are ready to output to film. Or you can upload your files onto our ftp site. Please let us know what applications you would like to use. |

Shipping? |
|
|
Printing
Asia arranges shipment of the insured consignment to
the port of entry. You arrange customs clearance and inland
delivery through your agents. This option can be very cost
effective for those clients with good clearing and delivery
agents. By special request we can arrange inland shipping in the USA and Australia. |
